Mother's Day

The modern Mother's Day holiday was created by Anna Jarvis as a day for each family to honor it's mother, and it's now celebrated on various days in many places around the world. It complements Father's Day, the celebration honoring fathers.

This holiday is relatively modern, being created at the started of 20th century and should not be confused with the early pagan and Christian traditions honoring mothers, or with the 16th century celebration of Mothering Sunday, which also known as Mother's Day in the UK.

In most countries, the Mother's Day celebration is a recent holiday derived from the original US celebration. Exceptions are for example, the Mothering Sunday holiday in the UK.

Mother's Day is celebrated on different days throughout the world.
In Malaysia for example, we're celebrate Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May and for this year we'll celebrate it on this Sunday, 10th May 2009. Do you have any plan on how to celebrate it, or have you think what are the best gift you can give to them for this special day?

Hmm...what about your wife..??

Don't forget about your wife, they also become the mother of your childs. Why not you plan for a something special for them...to show a little appreciation from you; compared to their big sacrifice taking care everything of you.

So..you guys out there, if u still have a mother..please pray for their happiness and good health. For those whom their beloved mother have passed away..please read Al-Fatihah and intend it to them, wishing may Allah s.w.t blessing them and us always.

Well..HAPPY MOTHER'S to my beloved mother, my mother in law, my grandmother, my sister in law, my auntie and all mother in the world.

p/s:
for my beloved wife (mother to be)... i love u so much. Insyaallah we'll celebrate it together next year ;-)
